Support for common feeding concerns

We look at the whole picture—parent, baby, feeding, and comfort.

Latch and positioning challenges

Postpartum recovery and the physical strain of feeding

Feeding discomfort, tension, or fussiness

Oral tension or questions about tongue and lip ties

Painful, difficult, or stressful feeds

Questions about breast/chestfeeding, bottle feeding, or combination feeding

Hands-on support, in your own home

An in-home postpartum visit gives us time and space to work with your baby where feeding actually happens.

What to expect

Initial home visits are booked for up to 90 minutes, so there is time to slow down, feed your baby, ask questions, and make a plan that feels realistic for your family. We will complete the visit with clear next steps and caring support tailored to your goals.

At our first visit we have plenty of time to:

  • Observe a feeding and talk through your concerns

  • Explore latch, positioning, and feeding comfort

  • Review your pregnancy, birth, and feeding history

  • Offer gentle craniosacral bodywork for parent and baby when appropriate

  • Create a practical, individualized feeding and home-care plan

  • Connect you with trusted referrals when additional support is needed

Portland-area home visits

Home visits are available throughout the Portland, Oregon metro area, generally within an hour of central Portland. A travel fee may apply for locations more than 10 miles from the office.
